Two ordinary women. Two different lives. Two moving tales.

In Gadis Jalan Burmah, Kartini finds herself furiously baking her own cake on her 42nd birthday. Amidst the hilarity and absurdity of the situtation, a million things flood her mind. Should she go out with the insurance salesman her mom suggested? Is she really running out of time? Then, memories of her past flings return to haunt her... the vet from UPM...Chinese pilot...American expat...and her Mak Long Piah. What should she do?

In Mangli, two friends stumble into each other at a bus stop after years without news. As they exchange words, Idayu begins to discover a very different Aris from the college classmate she once knew. People change with time, some more than others. Over a conversation, they venture to rediscover each other...

Join them as they pause to reflect on the road each has traveled and the journey, along with the choices, that awaits them. Listen, laugh (yes! there will be hilarious moments) and be moved.



Dua wanita biasa. Dua kehidupan yang berbeza. Dua kisah yang menyentuh jiwa.

Semua orang cakap Kartini dah 'takdak' time! Tapi Kartini tak pernah peduli pun. Sampailah ke harijadinya yang ke-42, beliau didesak oleh ibunya untuk keluar berpacaran dengan seorang jurujual insurans. Fikirannya mula bercelaru, apa lagi, beliau terus dengan gigih membuat kek harijadinya. Namun, benaknya yang serabut itu kemudian didatangi memori-memori lama - seorang doktor haiwan lulusan UPM, seorang juruterbang berbangsa Cina, seorang ekspatriat dari Amerika dan Mak Long Piah...

Mangli ialah sebuah kisah mengenai pertemuan dua kawan lama setelah bertahun-tahun tidak mendengar khabar. Idayu mendapati Aris bukanlah seperti rakan akrab yang dikenalinya dahulu. Masa singkat yang ada memaksa Idayu berusaha mencari semula kawannya disebalik lembaga yang mangli dan mati di yang terpacak di depannya.
Sertai mereka, apabila mereka terhenti sejenak, mengenangkan perjalanan yang telah dan akan diambil, berserta dengan pilihan-pilihan yang menunggu mereka. Dengar, bergelak ketawa (ya! pastinya ada saat-saat yang melucukan) dan tersentuh hati.
